l am the only one on a mortgage but l added my Girl Friend as a Joint Tenant on the Deed . l wanna remove her but she is not co-operating what can l do ... Can l remove her without her consent ? She is not on the mortgage .

Why would she cooperate? She has a portion of the property without the monthly mortgage payments.

You might offer her some cash of she take her name off. If she agrees u should draw up a contract that indicate she is selling u her share of the property, because that is what she now own by u added her to the deed.

She does not have to be on the mortgage to be on the deed.

She has all the leverage, u have to find a way to be successful at the least cost to you.

She could hold out for u to sell the property & get half of the proceeds minus anything that u owe on the mortgage or other debts attached to the property.
