Depends on the size of the room really - you're talking £750+ though.

(edit - that is per month)

Depends on where in zone 2 u live & how many of u r there. Nearer zone 3 & more ppl is cheaper cos u can share costs. Last year l lived in a house with 4 other ppl in camden town & paid £99 a week excluding bills. This was considered very good by friends & housing officials alike. Thus year l am in a flat for two near caledonian road for £120/week. This is also considered fair. I've been very lucky- l know ppl who have been ripped off & pay far more. Do not pay above £160/week l reckon & anything that looks too good to be true usually is. Anything under £100/week is likely to be the size of a rabbit hutch.
Good luck!

Completely depends on the state of the house, size of room and street that the house is on. Not less than £500.00 per month and that would be a dump.

Completely depends on the area. ''Zone 2'' covers a huge area.

l pay £700 pcm in Canada Water but this is expensive - l have an en suite bathroom & all of my bills r included though. (Plus Canada Water is walking distance of the City or one stop from Canary Wharf, so very expensive.)

My friend paid £90 per week in Manor House, again inclusive of bills, but this was in a very old, falling down house inhabited by about ten Australians.

The general rule is that East & North East should be cheaper, West & South West should be more expensive, & North & North West should be somewhere in the middle. South East London is normally cheap when u get further out, but this does not particularly apply in Zone 2 because it is so close & has such great transport links to the City.

You also need to take into account the condition of the place, & whether bills r included or not. Also, how many people r u sharing with? l once viewed a house that had one bathroom for twelve residents, although this is unusual of course. But the more of u there are, the less u should pay: remember you're going to queue for the washing machine, there wo not be enough space in the kitchen, etc etc.
